Howick Historic Village 2023
In Term 1, the whole school visited to Howick Historic Village. Howick Historic Village is a living history museum, depicting what life would of been like between 1840 and 1880. Our students enjoyed a variety of teacher led activities from this era which included a school lesson in an old school building, games, and unpacking old fashioned items from a suitcase. To finish the day, students enjoyed exploring the village buildings.

Anderson Farm Visit
In Term 2, we visited the Anderson’s dairy farm not to far away from school. We fed calves, watched cows get milked, saw one or two calves being born, learnt how to set up paddock break fences and much more! Thank you to the Anderson Whaanau for having us.

Te Whare Kai Visit 2023
In Term 4, the whole school visited Te Whare Kai in Tuakau. This was a great experience for students to see where their school lunches are made. We even got to make our own lunches in the Te Whare Kai kitchen and eat them onsite. Yum!

Ninja Valley
Thanks to an anonymous sponsor, we were able to take the whole school to Ninja Valley in Hamilton free of charge to students. Our tamariki had hours of countless fun spinning, leaping, sliding, swinging and bouncing. Some even decided to challenge themselves on the high ropes course. A highlight of the year!
