Students who attend Te Kohanga School are allowed to catch the bus to and from school as long as they live at least 2.4km from the school gate.
We currently have one bus that operates out of Port Waikato. Students are picked up from Port Waikato at 7.30am and the bus continues its journey to our kura (school) through to Frost Road, before returning to drop students at school. Students are provided with breakfast when they arrive at school in the morning and occasionally a hot milo (if its a bit chilly).
We have one bus in the afternoon that goes up Frost Road first before heading out to Port Waikato.
